Editorial Policies

Focus and Scope

Australian Journal of Crop Science publishes articles of scientific and practical importance, including research articles, brief research notes, review papers, covering all areas of research in which plants is a major aspect.

Coverage extends to plant breeding and genetics, plant biotechnology, plant propagation including tissue culture methods, plants-diseases and plant-soil relationships, agronomy, seed technology, physiological or molecular researches on cytogenetics and botany are also published.
Some other areas such as plant ecology, economy and management with the significant impact on plant production may be considered for publication.


Australian Journal of Crop Science is published bimonthly, online and on print format. The publication is prepared by an editorial board consisting of editors and editor-in-chief.
All papers, whether invited or volunteered, are subject to peer-review.

Manuscripts should be submitted to the Journal through the Australian Journal of Crop Science online submission program. Detailed instructions can be found at the site.

Peer Review Process

All manuscripts will be subject to multiple peer review before publication. Submitted manuscripts must not be under consideration for publication elsewhere or have already been published. The editor reserves the right to decide that a paper
may be treated as a Research Note. Manuscripts should be sent by online submission system on the main page of journal.

 

Publication Frequency

Australian Journal of Crop Science is a International-Australian based journal which focuses on almost all range of plant sciences. The AJCS is a bimonthly journal and publishes researches with significant results on plant and crop promotion. Journal welcomes global Editors, Authors, Reviewers and contributors to help enhancing plant sciences.
As this is a open access journal Authors maybe charged for their publications. This journal is published in print and online format bimonthly. Authors normally have unlimited access to their articles online (PDF and HTML) and in addition a printed copy and some reprints will be provided after publication (see Authors guideline).

 

Open Access Policy

This journal provides immediate open access to its content on the principle that making research freely available to the public supports a greater global exchange of knowledge.

 

Archiving

This journal utilizes the LOCKSS system to create a distributed archiving system among participating libraries and permits those libraries to create permanent archives of the journal for purposes of preservation and restoration. More...
